Department of Micro- and Nanosciences conducts research of micro- and nanotechnology and arranges related courses for students in Aalto University.
Our research fields are:
- Maskless, High-Precision, Persistent, and Extreme Wetting-Contrast Patterning in an Environmental Scanning Electron Microscope
- Effect of ozone concentration on silicon surface passivation by atomic layer deposited Al2O3
- Natural Silk as a Photonics Component: a Study on Its Light Guiding and Nonlinear Optical Properties
